Small Screen Android Phone Coming In United States
Looking back the early days of mobile device wherein 5.3 inch display phones were massive outliers than norm, Sony has something that might interest phone lovers, introducing its new flagship phone this 2016 the Xperia Z5, the device might be smaller but it’s a high end sibling of Z5 Compact coming out on United States shelves this February 2016.
Small yet powerful device has been the footprints of Sony in US market. This means that it does not have direct distribution to major carriers. Meaning this phone cannot be bought via installment plan from most carriers in US.
You will have to purchase them directly at B&H, Best Buy, Amazon, EBay or any retailer. Of course you have to pay in full price amounting to $599.99 for Z5 and $499.99 for the Z5 compact. These two device support GSM networks, in other words existing Sprint and Verizon clients need not to apply anymore.
Looking at Z5 it may be competent but it is not an exceptional smartphone. Built with 5.3 inches 1080 pixels IPS display, Snapdragon 810 SoC, 3 GB RAM, 32 GM Storage, with a microSD card, this is what I like the 23MP rear camera and 5MP front CAM, and powerd by 2,900 mAh battery so it is expected to last around two days, before I forget the phone is dust and waterproof.
The second one Z5 Compact is built in 4.6 inches likely more compelling smarphone, small screen at 720 IPS display, 2 GB RAM, Snapdragon 810 SoC, 32 GB internal storage expandable using microSD, the same camera 23MP front and 5MP back. The phone still can last 2 days and it is also dust and waterproof.
