Sony Xperia Z4 launched at $755
Sony’s 2015 flagship handset (which the company will argue isn’t their main one) has finally gone on sale. In the company’s home country of Japan, carrier NTT docomo is now offering the Sony Xperia Z4 for 93,312 yen (about $755).
Sony Xperia Z4 comes with a dust and resistant 6.9mm-thick body, 5.2-inch 1080p display, 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset, 3GB of RAM and an expandable storage. The smartphone runs on Android 5.0.1 Lollipop.
For photography, the Xperia Z4 uses an improved 20MP camera borrowed from it’s predecessor. There’s a larger 5MP secondary camera adorning the front side now while electricity is supplied by a sealed 2,930 Li-Ion battery unit.
After announcing the Xperia Z4 in April, Sony went ahead to unveil another device, a similar Sony Xperia Z3+ which they claim is the company’s main 2015 flagship. The Xperia Z3+ is yet to go on sale but then you won’t find much difference between it and the Z4, at least according to their respective specs pages found on this website.
