Sony Xperia Z5 Premium unveiled with head-popping 801 pixel density
At the 2015 IFA is Berlin, Germany, Sony earlier announced two devices: the Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact. And now, welcome the beastly Sony Xperia Z5 Premium you all have been waiting for. No jokes, the handset comes with a 5.5-inch display, Ultra HD resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) and a whopping PPI score of 801.
Not only will this device ever get rid of pixel “noise,” it’s screen puts modern TVs to shame by having a resolution twice or four times greater than the usual 2K and 1080p resolution found on latest high end TV sets.
That being said, the metal-clad Sony Xperia Z5 Premium comes with a premium 23-megapixel back camera and 5.1-megapixel selfie snapper at the front. Just like the Z5, it comes with a Qualcomm-made Snapdragon 810 chipset and 3GB of RAM. Finally, there’s 32GB storage, a 200GB-supported microSD card slot, nano SIM slot and 3430mAh battery.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is dust and water resistant (IP68) and has a fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button. A global rollout is billed for November and the phone will come in chrome, black, gold colors.
