T-mobile introduces a slew of pocket-friendly Samsung and Alcatel phones
T-mobile USA has unveiled three budget-friendly smartphones on it’s US network.
The three phones: Samsung Galaxy Light, Alcatel One Touch Evolve and Alcatel One Touch Fierce joined the ranks of other T-mobile exclusive phones today but with a clear common thing in mind — price.
The Samsung Galaxy Light comes with a 4″ display(480p, 233 PPI), 1GB RAM, 1.4GHz quad-core Samsung SHANNON222AP processor and 8GB of storage, expandable by 64GB with MicroSD cards.
There’s a 5MP camera and another VGA snapper in front of the Galaxy Light. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and supports 2G, 3G, 4G and NFC connectivity while having a removable 1800mAh battery for power.
The Alcatel One Touch Fierce evolves around a 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek CPU, IGB RAM, 2.4GB expandable storage, 5MP and 0.3MP rear and front cameras, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and is also powered by a 1800mAh battery.
The touchscreen display on the Alcatel One Touch Fierce measures 4.5 inches, with 960 x 540 pixels in resolution.
And then there’s the Alcatel One Touch Evolve. The One Touch Evolve is powered by a 1GHz MediaTek CPU, 512MB RAM, and has 4GB of storage, microSD card slot, 4” WVGA display, 5MP camera, and runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
The Alcatel One Touch Evove is can be purchased at a $27.99 down payment, followed by 24 monthly installmental payments of $3. The One Touch Firece is priced at a down payment of $19.99 while you pay up 24 monthly payments of $6. The Samsung Galaxy Light have not been yet been tagged with a price.
