T-Mobile pulls out Blackberry phones from it’s stores due to lack of demand
T-Mobile is no longer selling Blackberry phones due to low patronage and lack of demand for the Blackberry OS powered devices.
“As a result, T-Mobile will display BlackBerry units at its stores and even have one of each model in each store in case consumers want to see the phone in action. But if a consumer wants to purchase a BlackBerry phone from the nation’s fourth largest carrier, it will have to be delivered directly to the buyer.”
David Carey, executive vice president for corporate services at T-Mobile said that “keeping stock in the retail distribution system was inefficient”. He added that BlackBerry handsets are usually purchased by corporations and businesses that do not make smartphone buying decisions inside retail stores.
