The Android Nougat 7.0 could be rolling out to Moto Z family of devices in Q4
The latest to launch in terms of the Android OS which is the Nougat 7.0 has been around for more than a month now but sadly, your device won’t be able to run it now unless it is one of those Nexus smartphones on the market right now.
Some manufacturers have even done well enough and have stated when their customers would be getting the update across various devices but the dates are still far back which means that the Nougat 7.1 would have even launched before they get the base version.
According to someone who claimed to have inside information on Motorola though, it has been stated that some of the smartphones in the Moto Z line-up would be getting a push to this platform in Q4 which translates to the last three months of the year.
Since there was no specification on the exact device in this family that would be getting this update in that timeframe, we are assuming that they are referring to every one of them, including and limited to the Moto Z, Moto Z Droid, Moto Z Force Droid, Moto Z Play, Moto Z Play Droid, Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus and Moto G4 Play.
