The Android Nougat 7.0 could start rolling out this week
With the tests and benchmarks sightings here and there, and even the occurence with a Nexus 6P device that we recorded sometimes last week, we know that the launch of the Android Nougat 7.0 is just upon us but newly found chatter is now suggesting that we could get the latest OS sooner than later, with sooner being this week.
Evan Blass, who is better known as @evleaks and has proven himself to be a reliable tipster, has tweeted that the latest Android OS could be sent to users as part of their security update for the month of August and while he didn’t pick out Friday as a sure date, it surely serves as a point of reference.
If you are a Nexus 5 owner though, Evan’s info also claims that you would not be getting this update and if you want to have a taste of the Nougat, you should pick up a newer Nexus device such as the 5X and 6P which would be among the firsts to get the update.
As with all rumours, this is not sure yet and we advise that you take the information with a mere pinch of salt.
