Verizon introduces the GizmoTab with 3GB RAM, 8 inch screen, others, for kids
In a world where phone manufacturers are concerned with the next flagship that they would launch and also, in some times, the mid-range devices that they would use to keep the market with less deep pockets happy, here seems to be no one that is very much concerned on a device that would be cool and nice for the little ones in the population and with the recent launch by Verizon, we are starting to think that they have gotten that sector covered.
Called the GizmoTab, Verizon just launched a new tablet that was specifically made, designed and aimed at customers between the ages of three and eight. Since they have the idea of the market that they are aiming it for, they have equipped the tablet with a good shock absorber bumper that would help protect it to a certain degree from bumps and falls.
As to specs, the device is definitely no slouch as it packs a snapdragon 617 chipset which is paired to an impressive 3GB of RAM and an internal storage space of 16GB which ca be extended till 128GB as he user sees fit. On the front is a 5MP shooter paired to the 8MP camera on the back and with a 511000mAh battery to keep the device running, the 8 inch screen is more than enough to enjoy your multimedia.
Currently, the device sells for $249.99 outright.
