Verizon offering “Special Employee Edition” of Motorola Droid Turbo 2
The Motorola Droid Turbo 2 has just been around for less than 48 hours and its already getting a nice makeover from carriers. Verizon took the opportunity today to announce that its employees would be getting an employee edition of the smartphone, limited to only those that are currently and directly working for Verizon.
The color that the device would come in cannot be doubted as the company being nicknamed the Big Red can only mean one thing – this device is coming in a red color.
Verizon is the largest carrier in the US and its employees would have the chance to buy only the 64GB variant of the device. This special edition was not made with the 32GB and so their choice is pretty much picked out for them.
This is not the first time that Verizon would offer its employees a limited edition exclusive to them only as the same thing was done on previous handsets such as the Droid RAZRR Maxx and the HTC Droid DNA, also coming in Red.
Non-employees can get this phone from Verizon by applying for a job and hoping to get hired in time or just waiting for someone to try auction their copy on eBay.
