Vertu Signature Touch wants a taste of high specs too
The last Time Vertu released the phone was back in 2013, when the Vertu Constellation was launched.
Vertu Constellation (pictured above) had manageable specs but came with a pricing on the high side, per Vertu tradition. The 4.3-inch HD display-packing smartphone came with a 13MP camera, 2GB of RAM, and then a price tag of $6600 (six thousand, six hundred US dollars).
Now, according to information we laid our hands on, Vertu is planning to release a new smartphone which they call the Signature Touch.
The Vertu Signature Touch is expected to stay on the expensive side of the budget — like all of it’s siblings — but will bear good specs that can compete with some 2014 flagships.
Vertu Signature Touch (RM-980V) will posses a Full HD screen (1080 x 1920 pixels) of unknown physical size, 13MP / 2MP main and front-facing camera duo, Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM.
The phone will run on Android 4.4 KitKat and that’s the best we know for now.
So, for our rich fellas who think their gold-platted iPhones are now getting outdated, hold still, Vertu Signature Touch will be out any moment.
