Vivo’s unreleased Xplay 5S is tall in specs and size
Vivo, a Chinese company that’s know to break records every time. The tech outfit manufactured the first-ever smartphone with Quad HD screen and this year, these same guys are on track to snatch the crown of the thinnest smartphone, by the time when their 4.75mm-thin Vivo X5 Max breaks cover.
And even though the Vivo Xplay 5S which is the main subject of this article is not breaking any records this time, the upcoming smartphone still has a decent range of specs that can easily outclass most 2014 flagships.
Though the phone is not official — yet, we learnt the Xplay 5S will pack a 6-inch QHD display and measuring 158 x 81 x 5.68 mm. Despite it’s wafer-like slimness, the phone still has space for a 128GB-capable microSD card slot and there’s going to be a 32GB memory on board, coupled with a 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 805 SoC and 3GB of RAM.
Our sources claim the Xplay 5S will have a 13-megapixel rear camera, complete with a dual tone LED flash. The phone will boot on Android 4.4.4 KitKat directly out of the box and there’s a 3,500mAh capacity battery unit to make all that happen.
There’s no wording on when the device will officially be announced but even if it finally breaks cover, main chances are that the phone will never see beyond the shores of China.
