Vodafone Smart Ultra 6 droid with 5.5″ 1080p screen launches for £125
If you are a Vodafone subscriber and looking to shop for an-Android 5.1 Lollipop-powered phablet this season, the new Smart Ultra 6 might be just for you.
Vodafone, a leading United Kingdom carrier, in partnership with ZTE, launched the Smart Ultra 6 on Friday. The new smartphone was based on an existing ZTE Blade S6 Plus and save for the increased resolution and presence of single LED flash (instead of the dual tone one on the Blade S6 Plus), the two smartphones rock virtually the same specs.
Talking of specs, the Vodafone Smart Ultra 6 sports a 1080p 5.5-inch IPS display. There’s a 13MP camera at the back, 5MP front-facing selfie taker and finally, a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC, 2GB of RAM and expandable 16GB of storage for the engine. The handset is powered by a 3,000mAh battery.
Vodafone says that the aim of the Smart Ultra 6 phablet is to give you “provide a powerful, 4G-ready smartphone” on a small budget. The handset costs just £125 on the carrier’s Pay as you go package and you’ll get a pair of Harman Kardon headphones inside the package for free.
