Is this the Xiaomi Mi Band successor we’ve been hearing about?
A couple of weeks ago, a picture turned up on the internet bearing a purported render of a Xiaomi Mi Band successor. It was only until a few hours before the rumor was quickly disbanded after the photo was found out as fake. Well, we are here again, another set of images has surfaced from another angle, but this time, the source of the information appears to have more salt.
According to Taiwanese media – from where the images originate, the upcoming wearable is going to be called the Xiaomi Mi Band 1s and it’s having a heart rate monitor. The device doesn’t have a touchscreen as the first report suggested; instead, you’ll get the same three LED lights popped in between an oval aluminum surface.
While nothing has been discussed publicly about the launch date of the Mi Band 1s band, the product is expected to retail at the same price point offered by its predecessor in order to keep the fast-flowing orders steady.
