Xiaomi partners Uber to sell and deliver smartphones across Asia
Uber and Xiaomi have decided to come together to sell and deliver Xiaomi Mi Note units through Singapore and Malaysia. Consumers can buy Xiaomi Mi Note through the Uber application and the payment will be charged to the credit card which is associated with the Uber account. This offer was announced by Xiaomi VP Hugo Barra via social media and will be starting from 27 July 2015.

You can order the phone through Uber app and can easily track the phone delivery online, just like you are able to track any Uber car when you order for it. Within few hours of placing the order, the Xiaomi Mi Note will be delivered at your home, the memo says. Since the customers will be ordering through Uber app, no delivery charges will be needed. The delivery guys will also guide you regarding the uses of the new Xiaomi Mi Note.
This concept of getting smartphones delivered is just as new as it has also been followed in the US by Sprint. The carrier have developed a fleet of cars which makes hand delivery of smartphones to customers.
