Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 set to get “jaw-breaking” announcement on Tuesday
Chinese phone maker Xiaomi, has reminded users to expect a “jaw-breaking” announcement on the 30th June. The privately-backed tech outfit didn’t share details of the content but common sense suggests that the company’s Xiaomi Redmi Note 2, which has been present in the rumor mills for a couple of weeks now, will make a grand entry at the Tuesday event.
The title of the teaser also read, “Take Note, it’s going to be a good catch” bringing us to a conclusion that the March 2014-released Xiaomi Redmi Note is about to get a successor.
In addition to leaked images of the Note 2 that were earlier posted on our website, we found a fresh picture of a metal frame belonging to the upcoming smartphone which was supposedly taken inside a factory (pictured above).
We could be wrong but going by the rumors, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is expected to pack a 5.5″ 1080p display, octa-core MediaTek MT6795 SoC, 13MP and 5MP rear and front-facing cameras, Android 5.0 Lollipop OS for software and a 3,000mAh battery.
