Xiaomi Redmi Note successor sounds like a monster
Xiaomi is a name you might not have heard by this time last year, but thanks to the brand’s amazing hunger games aka flash sales tactics, their phones have earned them slots in the media, with a lot of people giving the Chinese company thumbs up for their ability to bring low-cost smartphones to the brave, and the fast.
Xiaomi’s Redmi Note has been successful as other Xiaomi offerings, the product has even gotten a 4G-compatible version released after demands soared above expectations. However, Xiaomi thinks this is time to bring something fresh to the table.
According to Gadgetz Arena, the Redmi Note is soon going to get replaced by a successor. While the exiting phone holds together a 5.5″ HD screen, 13MP camera, 2GB of RAM and a 3100mAh battery, the next version is said to be having the following:
- 64-bit MediaTek MT6595 octa-core chipset with LTE support
- 3GB of RAM
- 20.7-megapixel camera, 8MP front-facing camera
- 3500mAh battery
The next generation Xiaomi Redmi Note was said to have scored 47,233 on AnTuTu benchmark results. Xiaomi had arranged the prices according to the memory configurations as it seems there won’t be a microSD card presence:
- 16GB – $165
- 32GB – $215
- 64GB – $245
- 128GB – ?
It should be noted that all these are still unconfirmed so you should have a plate of sale beside you while digesting the report. We’ll await any more information about the upcoming smartphone and should convey that to you once it shows.
