Xiaomi teases Metal clad Redmi Note 2 Pro
An image has appeared online pointing all hands to the rumoured and upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro, this time, the image was released by Bin Lin, Xiaomi’s Co-Founder and President on Weibo. The teaser which shows the yet to be announced device’s rear camera corroborates the previous leaks of the phone which has surfaced online. The leak showing a circular rear camera with dual tone flash and a fingerprint sensor below it has also shown that the smartphone will be metal clad with a Gold colour variant being teased, this particular teaser did not mention anything about possible launch date of the much expected Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro.
In another teaser earlier in the week, a possible launch date was hinted as November 24 with ‘Grand Finale’ being the translation of the words printed in Chinese. The device was spotted last week on Chinese certification authority website TENAA, based on the listing, the smartphone is expected to feature a 5.5-inch full-HD display with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt memory capacity. The smartphone is expected to run on the MediaTek MT6795 Helio X10 SoC with a 13MP rear facing camera and a 5MP front camera running on the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
The 149.9×75.9×8.7mm device weighing 165 grams is packed with a 3,060mAh battery.
