Xolo Era gets released with $70 price tag, exclusive to Snapdeal
On Monday, Lava Mobiles launched a new handset from their Xolo Android series. Dubbed the Xolo Era and clubbed with an INR 4,444 ($70 USD) price tag, the new product will be sold exclusively on Indian e-commerce website Snapdeal.
In terms of specifications, the Xolo Era features a 5-inch IPS display with FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) resolution. The handset comes with a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU with an unspecified chipset. There’s 1GB of RAM alongside 8GB of expandable storage space — all backed by a user-removable 2100mAh battery.
The 3G-enabled budget smartphone sports a dual SIM slot. There’s also an 8-megapixel rear camera and LED flash while a secondary camera, useful in taking selfies, adorns the front side.
The Era is housed by a plastic body whose dimensions and weight wasn’t revealed by the Chinese phone maker. The phone is already on sale at Snapdeal but we were greeted with an “out of stock” notice when we checked but the listing says it “will let you know when in stock.”
