Yippe! HTC has a tablet: an 8.9-incher
Taiwanese phone maker HTC is about to spit fire in the next coming weeks. With the launch of the HTC One M9 Plus, One E9 and One E9 Plus rolled up in it’s sleeves, HTC is pretty much working on something which will break cover sooner: a tablet.
The rather detailed spec sheet of the HTC T1H tablet was discovered online on Friday, revealing the slate to be packing an 8.9-inch display with QXGA (2048 x 1536 pixels) resolution. Other features include a 2GB RAM configuration and an AllWInner processor with a 64-bit CPU setup.
Powering the T1H slate is Android 5.0 Lollipop OS coated with HTC’s Sense UI version 7.0. The tablet seems to be packing front-facing BoomSound speakers while a 1.6MP selfie shooter is at the top of the screen, assisting the 8-megapixel main camera at the back.
Though the materials for the body wasn’t mentioned, the HTC tablet will measure 228.35 x 153.67 x 7.88 mm (pretty slim) while a 6,700mAh battery supplies the current. The handset will be available in either 32GB or 16GB storage configuration.
