13MP Pepsi P1S smartphone launched with fingerprint scanner
Cola company, Pepsi whose phone leaked online earlier has been launched. The smartphone named Pepsi Phone P1S which produced by Shenzhen Scooby Communication Equipment Co. Ltd has been launched in China.
The metal clad unibody smartphone which corroborates earlier leaked images spots a 5.5-inch full-HD 2.5D Curved display with a screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels powered by an Octa-core MediaTek 6592 SoC clocked at a speed of 1.7GHz and a Mali 450 MP4 GPU for graphics. The smartphone which is a re branded product of Chinese OEM comes with a 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage memory capacity with a 13MP f/2.0 camera on the rear end while spotting a 5MP front facing camera.
The rear camera according to the company uses the FotoNation’s latest imaging technology also found in the Huawei P8 and P8 Max devices. The 5MP front camera is capable of shooting HD (720 pixels) videos and below the rear camera the smartphone features a fingerprint sensor with the Pepsi logo just beneath it.
The 152.2×76.2×7.7mm device weighing 158 grams is capable of supporting connectivity options such as the Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and 4G LTE technology. The 3,000mAh battery supported device which is available in Blue, Gold and Silver colour variants runs on an Android 5.1 Lollipop and is capable of supporting hybrid dual-SIM function.
