2016 Nexus smartphones, the Marlin and Sailfish, leaked again
A few blog posts ago, we brought to your attention that the new Nexus devices for this year, expected to be released by HTC, would be dubbed the Sailfish and Marlin till official unveiling and naming and now, we have even more information on the Sailfish variant (or conveniently called S1) of the smartphones. While we have already heard a lot of rumours as to the specifications, the screen size and every other facets of information on the S1, this new leak is now providing even tangible evidence.
For the Marlin M1, we are looking forward to a device with a 5.5-inch screen build and run by a QUALCOMM snapdragon 820 chipset. There would be a 4GB of RAM somewhere under the hood and for the camera, a combo of 12MP and 8MP on the back and front. Now, for the S1, the leak is confirming that it should sport nearly the same features as these, being a 2016 flagship, but differ in the screen specs which could be at either 5 inches or 5.2 inches.
As the year is winding to a close, our wait time is getting shorter and we should get more info that can be relied on soon enough.
