$65 Xiaomi phone rumored to be launching with HD display and LTE
Xiaomi is no longer a small player in the industries nowadays, the Chinese OEM is reportedly working a very cheap smartphone that will be equipped with 4G connectivity.
According to GizChina this morning, Xiaomi is plannig to/is using an unknown chip maker called Leadcore. The report states that Xiaomi’s unreleased $65 smartphone will be powered by a Leadcore LC1860 processor. The chipset houses a quad-core Cortex A7 CPU running at 2GHz as well as a Mali T268 graphics processor.
The Leadcore LC1860 is a processor that also has an LTE modem inside, which basically means the mystery Xiaomi smartphone will have LTE at the price of 399 Yuan ($65) which our sources told us. The phone is also believed to have a 720 x 1280 pixels resolution for the screen despite the actual size of the screen still unknown.
