‘Over 70 million iPhones will be sold this quarter’
KGI Securities analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, has released some figures worth looking at twice. The analyst who is popular for releasing point-blank forecasts for especially Apple products, rarely fall short of the final outcomes with his predictions.
Kuo believes that Apple will close this quarter (2014 Q4) with 71.5 million iPhones sold. 41 million of these represented by the company’s new iPhone 6 flagship while it’s over-sized brother, the Apple iPhone 6 Plus, will sell 15 million units.
Hear what the analyst says will happen to iPhone 6 sales next year. He says that early next year will be nightmare for Cupertino but the iPhone maker will still be able to sell close to 50 million iPhones even at the first quarter of 2015.
Keep in mind that Kuo was the only person to have correctly predicted the iPhone 6s screen resolutions back in April especially the FHD for the 5.5 version. However, we have the right to believe what we hear to some extent. We believe the figures might come out looking like what the analyst predicted, but might only be slightly better or worse.
