A 6-inch Sony D2203 is on the way
We found an unannounced Sony D2203 phablet in the benchmarks today. The device, despite it’s big..big display, packs the specs of an entry-level smartphone.
There’s a 6.1-inch multi-touch touchscreen, but then with a small resolution of 480 x 854 pixels (FWVGA) that sums the PPI figure to a poor 161 pixels per inch. Camera is a 5-megapixel snapper and at the front lies a 0.3MP selfie unit.
The Sony D2203 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset with a 1.2 GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU and 1GB of RAM. The internal storage is 4GB, and chances are that there will be a microSD card slot in the phone.
The Sony D2203 will also have Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and Wi-Fi according to the benchmarks results page. We are still yet to arrive at the final product name for the device but we know that the tested model is running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
