Acer outs three Androids and one Windows Phone at MWC
Taiwanese phone maker Acer has just unleashed three smartphones at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. It’s a common practice for companies to announce a lot of devices at MWC events due to the huge attention given to the occasion so this shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone.
Acer Liquid Z220 has a 4-inc 480 x 800 pixels touchscreen. The handset features a quad-core Snapdragon 400 chipset alongside 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable storage. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with a 1,300mAh battery supplying the current. The phone will be available in April with a price tag of €89.
Acer Liquid Z520 comes with a 5″ 480p display. This one also has a 1GB RAM and storage of 8GB. At the back of the phone lies an 8MP camera with LED flash as well as an 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 400 chip and is coming later this month with a price tag of €109.
Acer Liquid Jade Z is the leader of the pack in terms of specs. This one has a 5″ HD touchscreen and a 64-bit MediaTek chipset as well as 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. The handset features a 13MP/2MP rear/front camera solution while flying out a €199 pricing later this month.
Acer Liquid M220 is sporting a a 4-inch WVGA (480 x 800 pixels touchscreen) and is running on Windwos Phone 8.1 operating system. The handset uses 512MB of RAM and a dual-core CPU with a 1.2GHz tuning. Finally, there’s a 5MP back camera and 2MP front snapper while a 1,300mAh power unit lights up the device. The product will hit the shelves in April for €79 and is eligible for Windows 10 upgrade later this year.
