Adorama lists the 18.4″ Samsung Galaxy View for pre-order with specs and price
Samsung’s newest device on the block, Samsung Galaxy View, is like Samsung’s attempt to break the market with tablets that won’t be bordered at 10.1 inches anymore but at a massive 18.4 inches of screen (measured diagonally, of course). This is massive, and anyone who thought they wouldn’t follow this up should check the newest listing by Adorama.
The Samsung Galaxy View device has been listed for pre-order by Adorama and the full specifications of this new device were also listed alongside it. One thing that we should be grateful about is that the leaked spec sheets that were floating around earlier about the hardware turned out to be true, so our expectations are in a good place.
The 18.4 inch tablet is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos processor, coming at 1.6GHz and being of the Exynos 7580 chipset variant. The device would also run on2GB of RAM and have 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded by the user due to the presence of a micro SD card slot. There’s a 2.1MP camera on board and no news as regards a back camera (who would want to take a pic with this hardware though?).
Also, coming under the hood is a massive 5700mAh battery to handle the running affairs of the phone, Samsung already promising an eight and half hour of video playback on this.
Mobile data is available, coming with 3G and Category 6 LTE Support and as well, Wi-Fi isn’t left out. In fact, there’s a Wi-Fi only variant.
Pre-order on the Adorama starts at $599 for this device which is a bargain, considering this piece of technology.
The Adorama web page has been taken down and it turns out the listing was inadvertently published. Hope no one gets fired for this error.
