Alcatel 5 leaks in press renders, promo video
Alcatel’s upcoming smartphone, the Alcatel 5 has been spotted online on the Amazon France page with the listing showing off some of the expected specs loaded on the device.
The Alcatel 5 according to the listing revealed by famous leakster, Roland Quandt, reveals that the device will come into the market packing a 5.7-inch IPS LCD display with an aspect ratio of 18:9.
The promo video posted on Twitter and additional press renders of the device further suggests the device will come with an HD+ display with a rather unimpressive Mediatek MT6750 chipset under the hood.
The processor comes packing eight Cortex-A53 CPU cores clocked at a speed of 1.5 GHz.
The smartphone also comes with 3GB of RAM and 32 GB ROM with a microSD card slot for further memory expansion.
The fingerprint scanner is also loaded on the back panel just below the camera sensor which comes sporting a 12MP sensor on the back panel and a 13MP sensor on the front panel.
The device is expected to come into the market with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box and pack 3,000mAh battery capacity.
The device will be available in the Black and Gold color variants and sell for €230 in Europe.
