All you need to know about the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 635 SoC
Qualcomm seems to be planning to bridge the gap between the Snapdragon 660 SoC and the Snapdragon 630 SoC as the tech company has been hinted to be in the works for a Snapdragon 635 processor.
The Snapdragon 660 has been a choice for several high-end smartphones in the past and was built on the 14nm process while the Snapdragon 630, also built on the 14nm process is better known for its mid-range smartphone support. However, to bring a bridge between both processors, Qualcomm seems to be planning on producing yet another faster Kyro cores powered processor.
Reports which surfaced online states that the Snapdragon 635 processor will be built not only employing the 14nm process but also using the faster Kyro cores which will include 4 big cores and 4 smaller cores.
Rumors exist that the Snapdragon 635 will be clocked at a speed of 2.2GHz or at the very lowest, at 1.8GHz.
For the graphics, the GPU is expected to be as much as 20 percent faster compared to the Snapdragon 625’s GPU and a 30 percent gain over the 630.
