Alleged Xiaomi Mi Note 2 leaks with curved screen technology
What used to define the quality of screens used to be words like LCD and AMOLED but Samsung threw a new curve into the game when they started to tweak the dimensions and real estate of the screen. By looking and thinking out of the box, Samsung came up with what is now known as the curved screen technology and even if other manufacturers are too shy to want to try that soon, Xiaomi is definitely not.
There is a leak concerning an upcoming smartphone from the company, the Xiaomi Note Mi 2, which suggests that the device could well make use of the curved screen technology instead of the flat screen that they have always stuck religiously to. While there is still some sort of debate as to whether flat screens should really be ditched in favour of the curved brothers, many argue that the latter just provides eye candy and nothing more and many of the features introduced alongside it could well have been implemented on flat screens.
Be that as it may, we would love to see the Chinese OEM jump on this train and make something great of the curved screen technology too.
