Another Handy Feature Revealed on iOS 9.3
Apple’s iOS 9.3 Beta release contains some feature was not officially announced on its previous beta. In the first version of iOS 9.3 it reveals a new featured indentified as night shift, 3D Touch and smart education.
Days later the night toggle was then added to control center to the second stage of iOS 9.3. But on the third stage it added another feature beneficial to all Verizon subscribers. But this feature was late due to iOS supports for T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint.
So Wi-Fi calling, what is this anyway? The concept is simple, this feature allows user to send messages and call over Wi-Fi network from other device that has weak network signal but only for direct Wi-Fi to Wi-Fi. But first before enabling this kind of feature the phone should be set up first, and this feature is only for iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6S and 6S Plus.
Sprint officially initiates its Wi-Fi Calling for all Android platforms last 2014 and recently for iOS platforms was then given this feature in April of 2015. As Apple introduced its Wi-Fi calling features in iOS 8, and later work on T-Mobile network in United States. Even Verizon was the last carrier to join Wi-Fi Calling, this was still better that not having at all.
