Apple places order for production of over 70 million iPhone 6 units
The Cupertino technology giant seems to be very confident that the iPhone 6 will sell like candies. A report from Wall Street Journal has said that Apple ordered a record 70 to 80 million units of the phone from manufacturers.
In both 2012 and 2013, Apple created an initial order of 60 million to 70 million for the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5S. However, the new record shows that Apple is very confident in breaking the record of iPhone sales, especially now that iPhones just got bigger.
