Apple to settle each iPad customer with $40
Apple have been asked to pay users who purchased the Apple iPad 3G on AT&T before 8th June, 2010, a sum of $40.
The action was taken following a suit in defense of the customers, which claimed that the customers were promised unlimited data plans when purchasing the tablets, but were subjected to a 2GB data cap later on, which was later scaled to 5GB.
Asides the $40 that will be handed out to the customers, they will receive a $20 discount each month they subscribe to an AT&T data plan.
