Apple welcomes Beats Audio “to the family”
Apple, the new proud owner of Beats Audio and Beats Electronics have welcomed the sound enhancement and audio gadgets companies into the Apple family.
A visit to apple.com/welcome-beats shows a huge “Welcome To The Family” well text written above a Beats logo and part of the welcome message read, “Today we are excited to officially welcome Beats Music and Beats Electronics to the Apple family. Music has always held a special place in our hearts, and we’re thrilled to join forces with a group of people who love it as much as we do. Beats cofounders Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre have created beautiful products that have helped millions of people deepen their connection to music.
“We’re delighted to be working with the team to elevate that experience even further,” the statement continued”…And we can’t wait to hear what’s next.”
With the way this is sounding, Apple had offered hip-hop rapper Dr. Dre (real name Andre Romelle Young) and producer Jimmy Iovine who were the founding fathers of Beats, space at the Cupertino tech giant’s staff room.
Dre and Jimmy created Beats Audio from scratch and within the space of eight years, propelled the company to a $3 billion buyout by Apple, allegedly making Dre the hip-hop’s first billionaire.
