Archos introduces two new ‘Helium’ smartphones to debut at IFA 2016
With Berlin set to be abuzz with the activities of IFA 2016 starting from the 30th of August, it is not a new deal that we would be seeing a lot of leaks and rumours on what various phone manufacturers have planned for us on this day. For this reason, Archos has also introduced new devices to its line-up which they aim to showcase at the event. While they have a name that is not as common as that of the major players, that has not stopped the French OEM from coming out with 50f Helium and 55 Helium Ultra, some highly unlikely names.
The 5 inch 50f Helium would cost you just $132 and for this price, you are entitled to a smartphone that has 2GB of RAM, runs with a fingerprint sensor on its back, has 32GB of internal storage memory which can well be expanded up till 128GB and use an 8MP main shooter. Although there is the problem of a rather low snapdragon 210 chipset and the smaller 200mAh battery, it does offer the Marshmallow out of the box and keys in a 4G LTE connectivity.
On the other hand, the 55 Helium Ultra costs $157 and would offer you 5.5 inches of screen, pack a respectable 27000mAh of battery and feature the exploits of a 3GB RAM smartphone. The processing abilities is handled by the MediaTek 6737 and asides this, it offers nearly the same specs as the former seen above.
