BlackBerry announces BB Porsche Design P’9983 in Dubai
In far away Dubai where whole cities are air-conditioned and people have tigers as pets, the Canadian phone maker has unleashed the third generation product of the luxurious BlackBerry Porsche lineup.
Tagged the BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9983, the new smartphone surely wasn’t meant for spec hoarders like the average user. Members of royal families and the upper class will find this more tasteful than the common smartphone user.
With a 3.1-inch display, the phone’s IPS screen measures 720 x 720 pixels in resolution. The back side is adorned by an 8MP camera while a 2MP secondary shooter was slid beneath the surface of the phone’s front.
The Porsche Design P’9983 is powered by 2GB of RAM and a rather outdated Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus chip which features a 1.5GHz dual-core CPU and Adreno 225 graphics processor.
The new smartphone has an adequate 2,100mAh battery which should provide enough time for the phone’s LTE, NFC, FM radio and Bluetooth 4.0 usage.
Shipping for the BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9983 begins early next month and you can also order units off of Porsche offline retail stores directly, but then, expect the price to be less friendly to the common man.
