Blackberry starts rolling out new update to its Priv customers
Even though BlackBerry has closed down its hardware division just a few days ago, that does not mean that it would stop providing support to its other devices that are in the market and the latest to get a software rollout it the Android powered Priv. This time, it looks like everyone would be getting this update equally across all regions and carriers but it seems that Verizon is still going to be left out.
Carrying a firmware version of AAG873 for those that have their smartphones carried by AT&T, every other user would be getting theirs with the firmware number AAG853. The later number is also applicable to those that have gotten their own units as unlocked handsets.
Likely to weigh in at around 157MB, we are expecting it to carry the android security patch for October and also, some bug fixes and improvements. To get the full change log, we would have to wait till the update goes official.
