Bluboo X550 is a 64-bit 5.5″ Android 5.1 Lollipop smartphone and it barely cost $188
You probably never heard of Bluboo, or their brand new X550 smartphone? Not surprising as many others haven’t done so too. Now, Bluboo X550 is a Xiaomi Mi Note killer. Yes, you heard that right: both phones compete in the same price range (Bluboo X550 is priced $188 at Gearbest — there’s even a coupon: “X550” and the coupon price is $152.89) and interestingly, the former comes with very much updated specs.
For starters, the X550 has a 5.5-inch HD IPS touchscreen. The handset is powered by a 64-bit MT6735 chipset by MediaTek, 2 gigabytes of RAM and an expandable storage of 16GB. Running the software side is Google’s latest Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
In terms of photography, the smartphone houses an 8-megapixel rear shooter and LED flash while the front is host to a 2MP selfie taker. There’s support for 2G, 3G and FDD-LTE on both of the phone’s SIM cards while Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and A-GPS were not left out as well.
In a world where smartphone users need more battery life than ever, the Bluboo X550 has a massive 5300mAh of battery juice to keep you up and running for days. The product measures 5.82 x 3.07 x 0.37 inches and tips the scale at 198 grams.
