Borrowing airtime from Glo using “Borrow me credit”
Globacom Nigeria “commonly referred to ask Glo” are not putting an end to their service of making the Internet and Telecommunication a better experience avenue for Nigerians.
There are some instances whereby you as a subscriber find it difficult to go out and recharge your phone and a good example is in the mid-night when you need to make some urgent calls.
Another notable example is when you are traveling to a new place and you run out of credit on your journey, even though you need credit badly to make important there is absolutely nothing you can do than to wait.
I have been in this situation before in the past it used to be very disgusting and so annoying.
If you also experience this and you are a Globacom subscriber, then you should not worry anymore as Globacom Introduces a new service “GLO Borrow me Credit” service that enable you to recharge your phone when you are out of cash.
The service enables you to recharge your Phone by sending out a short code and when you recharge later via the normal airtime, the borrowed airtime amount will be deducted. I think this is a cool deal for Glo users.
The predefined Shortcode to get the service activated is *321#
That is the Short code for borrowing airtime from Glo, to get specified amount for your account balance dial:
*321*50# for N50,
*321*100# for N100,
*321*200# for N200,
*321*500# for N500
*321*1000# for N1000
Follow the step below to initiate a transaction:
1. Dial *321# on your phone
2. Create a 4 digit pin of your choice
3. After creating the pin now use the following format to borrow airtime. *321*pin*amount you want to borrow#
Just like normal airtime, you can use this airtime for anything. Browsing, calling, sending sms amongst others.
Note: – Glo charges 5% of the total amount borrowed.
