Canadian carrier, Rogers, slips up on Google Pixels’ availability before launch
We already know that today is the day when we get to see the Google Pixel phones in the flesh and even though the release is what we have been looking at for a while now, there is still some question as to when it would go on for official sales in different regions.
While it is possible that the sale start immediately after the launch because we have seen this kind of thing happen on other devices in the past, it’s not also uncommon that it takes a lot of weeks before this happens
With this kind of speculation abounding in our minds, it then went to a Facebook user who was very observant and saw a promo page in the website that showed when it would be available from Rogers, who happens to be a Canadian carrier and as such, could not be peddling wrong information.
In what seems to be a slip up, they have published a banner that tells us that the smartphones would be available for sale from the 20th of October, with preorders likely to start today too.
