Check out Blade D6, a sleek 5″ HD droid from ZTE
After announcing the Axon phone at a New York City event yesterday, Chinese OEM ZTE has similarly taken the wraps off a smaller, lesser spec’d smartphone called the Blade D6.
Interestingly, the ZTE Blade D6 takes a clue from the design of the Apple iPhone 6 but runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop instead of iOS. The 6.9mm-thin device houses a 5-inch 720p touchscreen display and floats a MiFavor 3.2 UI atop the Android platform.
The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MTK6735 SoC clocked at 1.3GHz. There’s also 2GB of RAM and expandable 16GB of storage to complete the mechanics while a 2,200mAh battery cell supplies energy to the unit.
For taking photos, the Blade D6 is armed with a 13-megapixel rear shooter and 5-megapixel secondary camera. ZTE says the phone is officially coming to Australia, Russia and Japan in silver, gold, pink, and grey color flavors.
