Cubot launches X15 smartphone, set to open after-sale service centers in Europe
Privately backed tech start-up Cubot has unveiled an aluminum-housed 64-bit smartphone called the Cubot X15. The X15 is a midrange smartphone (in terms of pricing) which comes with updated features including the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop OS by Google.
In terms of specs, the handset sports a 5.5-inch phablet-sized full HD display with 2.5D glass architecture. For taking photographs, there’s a 16-megapixel rear camera as well as a front-facing 8-megapixel selfie camera up front.
Under the hood, the X15 is rocking a 64-bit MTK6735 processor made by MediaTek, alongside a quad core 1.3GHz CPU and 2GB of RAM as well as 16GB of built-in storage. The device is backed up by a 2750mAh Li-Po battery for electricity.
Price-wise, Cubot X15 is currently available on pre order at Everbuying for $165.99 (coupon code:EBX15; coupon price:$146.99). The e retailer is also auctioning another cool albeit smaller smartphone called the Cubot X12 on sale for $105.38 but if you can order before August 11 (Tuesday), you’ll get the device for just $79.99.
In another development, a reliable source who happens to be an insider at the company told us that Cubot is building after sales service centers across Europe. These infrastructures will be unveiled before Christmas, our source explained to BestMobs.
