Dates and details of upcoming HTC Nexus devices leaks
After the kind of excellent work that Huawei did on the Nexus last year by offering us the Nexus 6P, the onus now falls on any manufacturer making the next set to beat all market expectations and with the dice falling on HTC to make either one or both of the 2016 Nexus devices, there is now news to suggest a release date for these devices.
Running the newest Android OS yet to be released, the Android Nougat 7.0, Droid Life has said that they have reason to believe the device(s) would be dropped on the 4th of October and with the specs we have seen so far, they are not very different from the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P of last year.
For example, the Marlin M1 would have a 5.5 inch of screen and run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, as well as its Sailfish S1 counterpart. It would have 4GB of RAM and internal space variants of 32GB and 128GB. Asides these, there would be a 12MP rear camera and an 8MP front shooter run by a 3450mAh battery
For the Sailfish S1, a 2770mAh battery powers the 5 inch screen and although it also has 4GB of RAM, there is only one storage variant available – the 32GB. The camera is the same as that of the M1 on both front and rear compartments.
