Details of 5″ HD Samsung Z2 Tizen phone surface
Even as last year’s Samsung Z failed to make it to the market, Samsung is keen on producing another mid range smartphone in order to supplement the budget-level Samsung Z1 which is already on sale in India and some other places.
Talks of a Samsung Z2 surfaced on the blogosphere this morning as the phone is reportedly said to be in the works as we speak. The device will pack a 5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) TFT touchscreen and will be running on Tizen 3.0 right out of the box.
There’s no word on the processor used on the device but this will likely be a midrange chipset to match the 1GB RAM and 2000mAh battery.
A publication carried out by TizenExperts today cites that Samsung is expecting another Tizen smartphone. This one will come with a 4.6″ HD screen, 2GB of RAM, 8MP camera and 2,600mAh battery.
The latter will be sold in tier one markets such as the USA, Russia, France. Samsung’s South Korea, China, India, France, Malaysia, South Asia and most places in the EU will not be left out either.
