Developer community gets Android Nougat 7.0 working on the OnePlus 3
Even though it has been a couple of weeks since the launch of the Android Nougat 7.0, the new software has not been very much available on a lot of smartphones and the availability is very limited across various makes and models devices.
Even though your smartphone has even been listed as one of those that would be getting this push, it would take a very long while before you finally start to see notifications that would then actually allow you get the big N working on your own smartphone too.
However, the open source nature of the Android platform has made it easy for the rules that guides the OS to be relaxed a couple of times and allow a series of independent developers work within the tenets of every laid down software.
For this reason, the developer community is at it again and this time, they have found a way to successfully port the Android Nougat 7.0 to another smartphone in the OnePlus line-up – the OnePlus 3. Remember that this same platform has been pushed to the OnePlus One not so long ago and for it to have been brought onto the OnePlus 3, it shows that the developer community is really working hard.
Asides from this success, some features such as the camera, fast charging, calling, alert slider and the likes do not work but hey, this is just a work in progress.
