Dual SIM variant of the Samsung Galaxy A8(2015) gets Marshmallow update
Even though Samsung sells some of the priciest devices on the market right now, that still does not mean they let their customers get entitled to latest updates as fast as they come and in the market these days, Samsung users are one of those that get their updates the last.
That is why it did not come as a surprise when it was after a year of release that they started to roll out the update to Android Marshmallow 6.0 to their Galaxy A8 smartphone and even at that, they didn’t release the latest version to it.
That is now bound to change though as there is a new update being rolled out to this smartphone which would see the software leave the present state and enter the Marshmallow 6.0.1 platform. Weighing a massive 890MB, we are advising that you get connected to a stable Wi-Fi network else you run the risk of incurring a lot of network charges.
It is also worth mentioning that this update would only be going to the variants of the smartphone that have double SIMs in them do those of you that run single SIM cards should not expect it.
