Essential Phone With 128GB ROM, Dual 13MP Camera Goes On Pre-Order
The Essential phone is one of the most low-profiled high-tech smartphones out there and just to prove this point, the manufacturers have decided to begin the pre-orders of the smartphone which has been released to some select carriers across select regions.
The unit pre-ordered is however expected to reach users no earlier than September 1 according to latest information.
Sprint has been confirmed the official carrier and retailer of the device in the US while Telus is in the same position for Canada.
The device which was released earlier in June is the first smartphone created by Android co-founder, Andy Rubin’s new company.
It is expected to come into the market sporting a whopping 128GB of onboard storage memory with no support for microSD card and a 4GB of RAM paired with.
Under the hood of the 5.71-inch screen is the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset as found in the Galaxy S8 and paired with the octa-core processor is the Adreno 540 GPU for graphics. For optics, the Android 7 powered device comes packing dual 13MP camera setup on the rear and an 8MP camera on the front panel all powered by a 3,040 non-removable battery.
