Fallen Phones4u will refund iPhone 6 pre-orders
The United Kingdom mobile phone retailer who slipped into administration yesterday has reassured customers that their pending orders will be refunded in full even while the company is embattled with it’s current crisis.
“Any orders that have not already been dispatched will be canceled and any payments refunded to customers. This includes iPhone orders,”an official statement from Phones4u read.
The phone dealer had been advertising and taking up pre-orders for the new Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus smartphones up till Sunday evening only for customers and staff alike to wake up on Monday and be told the company has been shut down.
And here are angry customers ranting on Twitter:
It’s not yet clear what technique Phones4u wants to use to get itself from the huge mess, but one thing is known — the company has a kind management. The CEO announced that the 5,596 workers in 720 Phones4u shops scattered across the UK will receive their pay even while the company is battling administration.
