Fido to start selling ZTE Axon in Canada from 6th November
Last week, ZTE announced the release of their new device, the ZTE Axon, and couldn’t wait to start filling the eager hands of consumers with a piece or more as they would want when it launched in the US market that same week. Now, the ZTE Axon would now feature in the Canadian market also but eager customers would have to wait till next month to satisfy the itch in their fingers and palms.
The ZTE Axon would be offered exclusively via Fido in Canada although things are believed would change and more carriers would have access to the sale rights for the device. Fido is reportedly giving out its ZTE Axon devices at zero cost (i.e $0) but you would have entered a 2-year contract agreement with them by the time you get one.
Not to be confused with the ZTE Axon Pro, the ZTE Axon is just the lighter (in terms of features) brother of the Pro which features a Quad HD Screen.
The ZTE Axon is built with 5.5′ of screen and comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset which is rather old considering the fact that Qualcomm is now producing 820 chipsets. The device also comes with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of static memory and 3000mAh battery. The front camera is set at 8MP while the back sees a dual 13MP and 2MP camera equipped with a dual LED flash likewise.
The date for the Canadian sale from Fido is 6th November.
