First Lumia smartphone without Nokia logo is here: Welcome the Microsoft Lumia RM-1090
If you are a follower of the latest mobile trends and updates, you must have heard that Microsoft has ditched the name “Nokia” from it’s future plans even after purchasing the Finnish telephone mega giant’s Devices & Services arm.
And now reality is here in our face. Here is the first smartphone that was manufactured by the aforementioned unit, yet will not bear Nokia anywhere in it’s name; Not even on the manual or anywhere — no Nokia. The Microsoft Lumia RM-1090 was caught clearing TEENA where it has gone for approval before breaking cover in China.
According to the TEENA listing, the RM-1090 (obviously not final name) measures a firm 140.2 x 72.4 x 9.3 mm . The phone has a 5-inch display with qHD resolution and of course, is running on Windows Phone 8.1 operating system.
Meanwhile, in the other Nokia’s camp, it is believed that the Finns are planning to go back into production of mobile phones as a couple of job offerings at LinkedIn and a few other solid publications have backed the claim.
