Galaxy S5 Plus and S5 Neo in Europe gets security patches
From the stables of Samsung, there is a new update that has started to hit the units of the Galaxy S5 Plus and Galaxy S5 Neo, and this one is currently being seen in the European region. For those that are impatient as to what is in the package, you would get the security fix for the month of January as soon as you complete the update.
For the Galaxy S5 Plus unit, the update would be rolling out with a version number of XXS1CAQ7 and for now, we haven’t been able to confirm the exact version number that this same update would have on the Galaxy S5 Neo. Likewise, we cannot tell you for sure if the update brings other features on board.
In the case that we manage to get our hands on the official changelog, we would update this post with the other things that might be included. Do well to watch this space. If you get there before us though, use the comment box to inform us all. Like we would always remind you, this is an OTA update and it might take a while to hit your unit.
Either sit tight and wait for it or head over to Settings and manually request your bump.
